Tax Information and Forms for Unemployment Claimants Available Online

Baton Rouge: Individuals who received unemployment benefits in 2012 may now obtain a Form 1099-G from the Louisiana Workforce Commission in accordance with federal tax guidelines.

Individuals who were paid unemployment benefits in 2012 can view and print their Form 1099-G information by logging in with their Social Security Number and PIN at: https://laors.laworks.net/UI_SelfService/UIC_ContinuedClaims/Index.asp

Unemployment benefits are considered taxable income and must be reported on your federal tax return.
