The Open Primary/Congressional/Presidential Election is scheduled on November 6, 2012.
The ballot is a list of candidates for public office for voters’ consideration in an election and could also include constitutional amendments and/or propositions.
The Elections Division of the Louisiana Secretary of State provides an online voter database that allows voters to view the information on their ballot at: http://voterportal.sos.la.gov/
To learn what's on your ballot, you can search the database by:
-
Voter: you have to provide your first and last names name and address and either your month and year of birth or your zip code. Searching by voter provides the most specific information about a registered voter in Louisiana.
-
Address: you have to provide your complete address. Searching by address provides information about all voters at an address.
