How do I vote early?

The Open Primary/Congressional/Presidential Election is scheduled on November 6, 2012.

Voters who want to vote early for the November 6, 2012 Election may do so in person at their parish Registrar of Voters office or at designated locations in the parish.

October  23-30, 2012 is the early voting period for the November 6, 2012 Election (except Sunday, 28, 2012).

A complete list of the locations of parish Registrar of Voters offices and designated early voting locations is available at: http://www.sos.la.gov/Home/Elections/EarlyVotingInPerson/EarlyVotingLocations/tabid/984/Default.aspx

You may also wish to contact your local Registrar of Voters office for specific locations, dates and times; a directory list of Registrar of Voters offices is available online at: http://www.sos.la.gov/Portals/0/elections/pdf/COC-ROVlist.pdf

The Registrar of Voters offices will open their offices from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for each day of early voting.

When you go to cast your vote early, you will be asked to identify yourself with either a photo ID or signature on a voter affidavit. You may use a driver's license, a Louisiana Special ID or some other generally recognized picture ID that has your name and signature.
