NOTE: The application period for DSNAP benefits in the following parishes has ended and residents are no longer eligible to apply - Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. Mary, St. James, St. John, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington and West Feliciana.

Parishes Eligible for Individual Assistance

The presidential disaster declaration for Hurricane Isaac now makes available federal individual assistance to eligible survivors in the following parishes: Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington and West Feliciana.

On September 4, 2012, St. Charles Parish was added to the list of eligible parishes for federal individual assistance; Amendment No. 5 is at: http://www.fema.gov/disaster-federal-register-notice/amendment-no-5-notice-major-disaster-declaration

On September 5, 2012, Tangipahoa Parish was added to the list of eligible parishes for federal individual assistance; Amendment No. 6 is at: http://www.fema.gov/disaster-federal-register-notice/amendment-no-6-notice-major-disaster-declaration

On September 6, 2012, Assumption, St. Helena, St. James, Terrebonne, and Washington Parishes were added to the list of eligible parishes for federal individual assistance; Amendment No. 7 is at: http://www.fema.gov/disaster-federal-register-notice/amendment-no-7-notice-major-disaster-declaration

On September 7, 2012, Iberville and St. Mary Parishes were added to the list of eligible parishes for federal individual assistance; Amendment No. 8 is at: http://www.fema.gov/disaster-federal-register-notice/amendment-no-8-notice-major-disaster-declaration

On September 14, 2012,  East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, and West Feliciana Parishes were added to the list of eligible parishes for federal individual assistance: Amendment No. 11 is at: http://www.fema.gov/disaster-federal-register-notice/amendment-no-11-18
